Outllok/Outlook.com/Outlook app syncing - Microsoft Community


i know has been asked plenty of times , i've tried every solution find on internet cannot make work right. had working once moved new computer , doesn't work again. frustrated because doesn't make sense.

i have personal domain email address, not hotmail or gmail or outllook.com. prefer use desktop version of outlook , standalone works great couldn't calendars or address book sync with outlook app on iphone.

yes, i've tried icloud hoping stay in outlook loop , not need separate calendar program on phone.

i set outlook.com account , gets email fine , sync between outlook iphone app, outlook.com , windows mail, calendar , people apps. calendars , contacts not sync outlook desktop.

i've set eas account, deleted , reinstalled accounts, started on , tried ics. nothing working.

i , feel of outlook , outlook app. prefer using on windows mail, want use it.

how can sync else?

  • what operating system running on desktop?
  • what phone model , ios version have?
  • are receiving error messages?

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
