Outlook 2016 unable to add Hotmail account - Microsoft Community


december 11, 2016, outlook 2016 no longer able access hotmail account. have uninstalled office , reinstalled. able access gmail , yahoo accounts outlook. had installed thunderbird , able access accounts including hotmail, gmail, , yahoo. have tried re-add hotmail account outlook 2016 no success. running bitdefender total security, malwarebytes nothing has changed on last 2 years.

there no such product outlook 365. office 365 subscription allows use office 2016 suite of products, outlook 2016.

make sure bitdefender not configured integrate mail client program. add hotmail account using autodiscovery following instructions in article: reconnect outlook 2016 or outlook 2013 outlook.com uninterrupted email access. should able avoid instructions creating new profile, if adding account doesn't work, may need to. if have "this computer only" folders, save them outlook data file (pst) create before adding new profile.
