Unable to search in Outlook after updating to the latest build 1704 - Microsoft Community

exactly same me. after latest update build 1704 search in main email pst doesnt work. have 2 other email account in outlook, , searching in these 2 pst works fine.

what going on?!! has been ongoing problem long.

fix released already.  assuming issue pst files either added manually or using pop account best solution create new profile.  there earlier steps in thread fixing pst data file path , might easier cleanest solution create new profile, https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create-an-outlook-profile-f544c1ba-3352-4b3b-be0b-8d42a540459d.  although there fix not retroactively fix if pst path got corrupted , why 2 suggestions fix manually.
