Outlook 2007 - multiple duplicates of incoming Yahoo Mail - Microsoft Community


for last few days outlook 2007 has downloaded multiple duplicate copies of incoming mails, although inbox on yahoo server has single copy. can please suggest fix?

it seems each time close , open outlook downloads mails in inbox on yahoo server , no longer 'remembers' has downloaded them before.

i use yahoo mail popped ms outlook 2007 , has worked years. download outlook incoming mails inbox on yahoo server , leave copy on yahoo server, can access email history on phone. bcc emails myself, inbox has copies of incoming , outgoing mails on yahoo server , in outlook. arrangement may unusual works ok , has advantages.

the setup standard settings pop.mail.yahoo.com , smtp.mail.yahoo.com. i've checked box 'leave copy of incoming mail on server' want able see email history on phone has been working ok until recently.


cleaning thousands of multiple duplicate mails in outlook time consuming. temporary workaround manually delete mails inbox on yahoo server copying them folder time consuming , means lose visibility of email history.

caused when outlook 2007 , yahoo mail server's communications each other gets interrupted, add-in, antivirus add-in. if use other windows defender, disable mail scanning , try again. start outlook 2007 in safe mode (hold ctrl when click icon start it) , try again.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
