Outlook 2013 ribbon buttons with drop down menu not working - Microsoft Community


good day,

i have client outlook issue appears affect ribbon buttons small triangle in bottom left corner signifying drop down menu. client trying send email within ms word, attaching document working on new email message. when attempted e-mail signature did not automatically populate bottom of message. when attempted insert signature using button on ribbon nothing happened. after investigating , attempting create new email within outlook tried insert signature again , not successful. brainstorming, tried other buttons within outlook had small triangle drop down menu. none of these work, buttons without drop menu not have issue , perform way supposed to.

  • does happen both outlook app , outlook on web?
  • have tried checking updates?

we suggest run windows update concern may related previous issue that's addressed new release of updates office.
