Hexadecimal email address following upgrade - Microsoft Community


since upgrading office 2016 through 365 home email address has been changed outlook_ followed 16digit hexadecimal address@ outlook.com.  not number.  can tell me how can correct this.  have removed , reconnected hotmail account 2 times without being able correct this.  contacted microsoft helpdesk reconnected me , told me automatically updated actual email address within 24 hours.  week later still waiting.
