Hidden Office 365 mailbox, needs to be accessible by executive - Microsoft Community


hello,

we use office 365 outlook 2016 desktop client.  we have specific email account needs hidden global address list, owner of account has 3 delegates need able open/edit contacts , calendar entries.  when mailbox hidden not possible search mailbox add delegates outlook 2016 client.  the way works if unhide mailbox, make necessary changes permission changes , add unhidden mailbox each of delegates, re-hide mailbox, , hope none of delegates uncheck manager's calendar.  otherwise have repeat steps.

the mailbox hidden member of our management team internal use , requirement mailbox hidden non-negotiable.  surely there must simple workaround this.  i have found references stating use legacyexchangedn attribute access hidden calendar , contacts, not have entries in field because these boxes created way after migrated exchange cloud.

these delegates change based on availability , long drawn out process change them currently.  in ideal world mailbox visible , there not problem.

using web-mail not option these users.
