Outlook 365 search returning no results... - Microsoft Community


after office update few days ago, search function stopped working emails in outlook.

i know emails there, "no results" when searching.

i need function work.    what repair problem.

to further concern, kindly provide following details:

  • have made changes on settings of outlook 2016 before issue occurred?
  • what current build number of outlook 2016? check current build number of outlook 2016, can check link.

if outlook 2016's build number 7870.2020 or higher, suggest check article , scroll down part says other outlook issues affecting email messages, attachments, , features. under that, select outlook search stops working after updating build 7870.2020 , higher [workaround], , follow easy steps provided.
