Outlook - temporarily looses recent e-mail, reappears on restarting - Microsoft Community


strange one: when outlook starts, emails (and sub "inbox" accounts) appear fine , can read. if jump sub folder, contents appear fine....but when jump top folder "inbox", display email of 2 weeks ago , earlier. "search" topic of more recent e-mail not find it. (although search shows "something went wrong , search couldn't completed"). else seems work fine.

if exit outlook, , restart it, emails again.

any ideas?

office 365 running on windows 10 on pc

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
