Outlook for Mac 2016 default fonts reset - Microsoft Community

hi,

i have 2 mac, both outlook upgraded 15.33 (170409).  

on 1 of them, preview pane setting revert bottom, despite switching off, everytime quit outlook. have tried setting hidden under view menu, same result.  rebooting mac did not help.

on second mac, preview pane setting retained, , working well.

is there way make first mac setting stick? there way clear , set default configuration?  something must corrupted , setting isn't saved.

please try steps below:

quit applications > on go menu, click home > open library.
note library folder hidden in mac os x lion. display folder, hold down option key while click go menu.

open preferences, , drag following files desktop(don't delete):
1. com.microsoft.outlook.plist
2. com.microsoft.outlook.database_daemon.plist
3. com.microsoft.outlook.database_utility.plist
4. com.microsoft.outlook.office_reminders.plist
5. com.microsoft.outlook.syncservicespreferences.plist

note: if cannot find 1 of these files, continue next. of these files may not have been created if outlook feature not used.

open outlook again, change view, re-open see if problem occur?

if yes, perform clean startup (safe mode) determine whether background programs interfering office mac. here 1 article reference:

if above doesn't help, please let me know os version of machine , try creating new account in outlook mac , see if problem occurs in new test account.
