Setting up imap/pop email impossible in Win 10? - Microsoft Community


just did clean install of win 10 , have reestablish email accounts including imap/pop. used having set latter "maanually" , know settings after several tries outlook still reports can't access outgoing server.

if try automatic hooked cpanel auto search set account uses wrong servers,  certificate unreliable, , don't trust it.

so how can these imap accounts set up? , when supposed "upgrading" new windows os ever smooth process rather pain in ****?

this problem may occur due issues email configuration, system files, , email account credentials.

for issues email configuration after clean install, recommend run system file checker tool. run tool, please follow steps provided on link. can scan , repair corrupted system files.

after running system file checker, recommend restart computer , try establish email accounts again.
