This item cannot be found error message - Microsoft Community


i trying transition gmail office 365. have outlook setup , receive emails school account. however, anytime try add contact, schedule appointment, meeting etc, same error message (item cannot found). 

can please explain me doing wrong. seems related outlook data file. tried create one, have not been able fix problem. 

any suggestions appreciated.

  • which type of email account configured on outlook? pop3, imap or exchange server email account?
  • which default data file set on outlook?

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
