Email messages from businesses do not open links automatically when - Microsoft Community


messages businesses not open links automatically in message when open message, see small square icon x in it, can point , see option open in web, in areas of message picture type information should there small square x in nothing when pointed to.. there 8-9 of them different links. these messages ebay, american airline , txu electric.  used open fine week ago have not added programs or updates aware of, in fact laptop doing same thing. new hp desktop pc, pavilion 510-p136. saw similar thing on old pc. have talked microsoft , have no idea going on. have edge, firefox , explorer installed firefox default. have tried know try nothing works. please help.

this happens when office app corrupted. please answer questions can identify problem , fix it:

  • what troubleshooting have tried?
  • does happen when accessing email through outlook app , browser?

since you're able verify problem present on different devices, let's compare office installations have on each of computers. refer link checking version of office.

it give more information problem if run office configuration analyzer tool. open page learn more using suggested tool.
