Outlook 2013 Autocomplete losing random addresses - Microsoft Community


hi

hope out there can this, cos it's strange one.

one of users has recurring problem autocomplete list lose addresses seemingly randomly.

it not lose of addresses, some, , these used addresses.

today complained has not retained address of recipient mailed yesterday.

i haven't been able find pattern yet, although seem affect external mail addresses.

i have recreated mailbox in exchange, ad user account - problem persists. created new outlook profile - problem persists. backed autocomplete cache, cleared it, imported backup of - problem persists. cleared , let build again - problem persists.

i have used nk2info check store, @ point discovered there 998 entries. little research later revealed outlook 2013 supports 1000 entries in autocomplete list; found registry tweak increase this, doesn't seem help.

pc runs win8 , office 2013, connected exchange 2007 (sbs2008).

has seen kind of thing before?

i have searched extensively no-one seems have had kind of issue - there's 'autocomplete not working @ all' issue (not relevant, cos work, mostly), , there's 'autocomplete empty' issue (also not relevant, cos not empty) nothing seems in between these 2 extremes.

note - know exchange old, upgrading either exchange 2016 or going office 365 question of when powers have made decision. either way, no-one else here has problem, disinclined blame age of server this.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
