MSA log in issues on iPhone Outlook preventing App from being used. - Microsoft Community


hi,

i'm having huge amount of difficultly using outlook app on ios last 3-4 months.

i have msa account (non ms private email from my own domain registered msa windows live account etc) - use onedrive , outlook.com access.

within 30 seconds or of launching the outlook app brings dialog :

'<email address>'

we having trouble accessing account. please log in again.

this shows 'log in' button - @ point prevented using outlook though have emails 4 other accounts i'm trying read. (ie. no 'cancel' button or anything).

then.. when click on login + taken microsoft msa authentication pages, i'm able put in email address + password - once permissions page (the page titled 'let app access info? .... outlook needs confirm permission to: etc etc') - can't further @ all... 

if click 'yes' button here see black status bar @ top of screen go 100% + briefly see progress spinner (in center of screen) - , nothing... stays on screen - no dialog shown telling me failed or (eventually, if leave long enough tell me connection timed out or internet connection failed - though there's nothing wrong internet @ all).

i've tried outlook update after update on past few months + problem not going away... it's frustrating because moment 'we having trouble' dialog won't let me cancel out , still read emails received other accounts.  option keep relaunching outlook , trying see other emails before dialog comes , blocks me doing anything.

i hope here has solution - mentioned - there's nothing wrong sign in or password (which use regularly on windows pc + plenty of microsoft sites) - , definitely appears issue purely msa sign in dialogs served microsoft authentication site itself.

nb: i've tried 'reset account' option in settings + doesn't seem @ all.
