Unable to Locate File Block Settings in Outlook 2016 and Word 2016 - Microsoft Community


hi guys,

we ask support, unable save new signature in outlook , edit in word.

pop-up error: attempting save file type has been blocked file block settings in trust center.

but when locate file block settings in trust center, there's no file block settings in trust center. can  you on our concern?

i’ve done tests , found issue can solved doing following steps:

 

1. start word , navigate file -> options -> trust center -> file block settings.

2. click on “restore defaults” or manually deselect “open” , “save” checkboxes for;

web pages. rtf files. plain text files.

note: version of word client version 1611 (build 7571.2109) (the latest office client downloaded first release of).

 

however, said there no “file block settings” in word 2016. so, please let know detailed steps how used install office 2016 client.
