Auto-save in Outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community


does know how turn off auto-saving of emails in newest version of outlook? appears problem has existed quite while , outlook refuses address it. reference, i'm not using web app.

every 20 seconds or while i'm typing email, outlook auto-save , interrupt typing second or two. have click email , start again. incredibly frustrating , short-sighted, , big hindrance work do. have tried talking live chat support didn't understand question, , of tweets outlook ignored until refused answer questions , sent me here.

i'd appreciate advice whatsoever! driving me crazy , i'm frustrated.

to disable auto-save in outlook 2016, follow instructions below:

  1. in outlook, select file menu, choose options.
  2. select mail.
  3. remove check mark on automatically save items have not been sent after many minutes.
  4. click ok.

let know how goes.
