Confused as to why I'm getting a Password request on a PP VBA file - Microsoft Community


don't know what's going on.

i editing pp 2010 macro presentation.

i can make changes slides; , can view, edit , save changes vba code.

i going set copy of pp file vba password protection, went vba page, clicked on "tools", "vbaproject properties", expecting window allows set password protection, instead got pop-up window asked "vbaproject properties" password. have not set 1 up.

i have set password protection presentation, not particular one.

i tried couple of guesses, did not entered.

i'm confused why i'm still able change vba code, can't set password, yet being asked password if there 1 set up.

is there limit how many guesses try , enter.

help appreciated.

are sure vba project selected on left, in project explorer pane?  if you'd selected other project that's password protected, described you'd get.

i don't think there's limit, other patience, number of guesses get.
