on slide 1 only, add “applause” .5 seconds presentation begins. how control duration of transition sound.

i regret there no option prolong duration of transition sound in powerpoint 2016. however, can consider several options like:

a. record preferred sound.

b. download reputable websites insert in presentation.

c. may choose do  loop option in sound drop down button @ upper right part of powerpoint, under transition tab.

for more helpful references, may refer on these links:

add, change, or remove transitions between slides.

set speed , timing of transitions.

play music duration of slide show.
