Outlook wont open - Microsoft Community


having issues outlook , not opening. error not helpful 'cannot open microsoft outlook. set of folders cannot opened. file c:\ users/*****/appdata/local/microsoft/outlook/email.ost. can not opened. went location , file not there. have re-install office did not work. how can working again?

if search office forum cannot find ost file find several similar threads [you can click on link search].  hope 1 of them helps you.

in general, in forum,

  • responses mvp under forum username useful
  • responses microsoft under forum username useless. 
  • if post labelled answer click on date-time entry see if username of individual marking answer same individual asked question [if not answer might useless].
