View room/equipment calendar appointment details - Microsoft Community


i have created multiple room , equipment mailboxes, importing calendar appointments old exchange's public folders.

outlook users wish able see details of these appointments when opening these calendars. can see "free" or "busy".

i have tried granting users different levels of permissions these mailboxes, without luck. example:

add-mailboxfolderpermission -identity *** email address removed privacy *** -user *** email address removed privacy *** -accessrights "author"

can please offer advice?

try following powershell command , wait few minutes see if can updates.

add-mailboxfolderpermission -identity *** email address removed privacy *** :\calendar -user *** email address removed privacy ***  -accessrights author

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
