After Windows June 2017 Update - Outlook 2010 Search Indexing Broken - Microsoft Community


after june 2017 windows updates, outlook 2010 continuously says indexing , search results incomplete. event viewer showing event id 36 - "search cannot complete indexing of outlook data. indexing cannot continue for...( error=0x81404005). if error continues, contact microsoft support." has affected productivity here in our office.  i have seen many others experiencing same issue , unable come solution. waiting microsoft...

has microsoft acknowledged problem, , there fix?

we had issue , few days after lots of office updates, many try , narrow down.

however found that running scanpst finds errors, fixes them without problems.  after opening outlook again, indexing status shows complete , search works fine.
