Cannot open email URL links - Microsoft Community


i installed latest windows 10 download 23/05/2017. emails download using outlook 2016 not connect or download linked url's. error message saying "something unexpected went wrong url .......the system cannot find file specified". office working before latest windows download. has had problem or know of solution?

for isolate if issue recent windows 10 update, need confirm information. please provide answers following questions:

  • what these hyperlinks linked to? embedded excel file in local machine or web page in internet?
  • does issue happens hyperlinks in outlook 2016 or specific email?

meanwhile, suggest perform steps below , check if helps:

1. right-click hyperlink object.

2. click if related hyperlink option such open hyperlink, copy hyperlink and select hyperlink listed.

3. click copy hyperlink confirm if can directly access address.

let know if there's changes after performing suggested steps.
