Enable local image paste option - Microsoft Community


somehow paste formatting options became disabled.  every time try paste web document 2 messages:

"choose keep or remove formatting in pasted content"

and

"local image paste has been disabled. local images have been removed pasted content."

does know how fix this.  it frustrating have check 2 things every time try paste.

there limitations in web browser technology, copying , pasting text in microsoft office online differs copying , pasting text in office desktop applications. 

 

you can paste picture copied web in document, but word online doesn’t support pasting pictures copied other documents or programs. if there’s picture in document or program want use in word online, save picture on computer, go to insert > picture in word online.

for further checking issue, please provide following information:

 

  1. which web doc referring here? onenote online, word online etc.?
  2. from have copied picture, internet site or other web document?
  3. please save picture in computer , insert picture through insert> picture, shown below.
