Occasional SSBOD after importing Outlook 2011 Mac data to Outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community


on january 24, 2017, installed microsoft 365 home mac.  did not delete office mac 2011 because wanted make sure working fine before did so.  still @ point checking things out, not want remove office 2011 yet. 

everything went fine 2016 installation, except had trouble sending , receiving outlook 2016 (using pop).  decided import outlook 2011 data outlook 2016.  used information in "i error when importing outlook mac 2011 data," re importing data new profile.

however, ssbod when move email inbox folder.  hangs long end doing force quit.  other times short while, , message microsoft encountering error, , want quit.  latter scenario, quit , relaunch outlook.

i thought might if rebuilt identity, correct there no option outlook 2016?  option start new identity?  concerned if start new identity, might end having same problem had outlook not sending , receiving.

generally, can create/add email signature in outlook mac via https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create-and-insert-a-signature-in-outlook-2016-for-mac-f4d21492-0956-4429-95ad-2769745b539c.

since have more 1 signatures, please remove them , add 1 via above instruction check result. especially, if there content going added hyperlink, may don’t copy content hyperlink directly signature while creating it.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
