Saving from any Office 365 app - Opening WExplorer in - Microsoft Community


hello,

for several years i've same silly question:

when saving office app, windows explorer opens in "tiles" mode.

is there way make open in "details" mode ? very nice...

nb : put question since w7. never got working answer though...

who knows... tomorrow christmas day!

hi christian,

 

have tried setting default folder view details? if not, can follow these steps set default folder view.

 

  1. open file explorer.
  2. change view details.
  3. click view tab, click options.
  4. dialog box appear, select view tab.
  5. hit apply folders.
  6. click yes, ok.

 

kindly update on results.
