Office 365 Powerpoint is running very slow on my Macbook Pro w/ - Microsoft Community


hello all,

i purchased 2015 mbp w/ retina display along office 365. disappointment, i'm experiencing significant lag on powerpoint. works fine long no other applications open. however, simple music services such pandora or spotify cause program lag (upwards of 5 seconds per animation/transition when advancing slides). occurs regardless of whether file opened office 365 cloud or if saved on harddrive. 

please help!

to better understand situation, i’d confirm following things:

  1. open powerpoint>click powerpoint on top bar>about powerpoint>capture screenshot of pop-up. meanwhile, version of operating system?
  2. what mean “simple music services such pandora or spotify cause program lag significantly”? add music file presentation same method in article? there lag issue when use these 2 music services , edit/play ppt file @ same time? please share more details part.
  3. if it’s convenient, may record video issue. have sent private message collect it.
