Outlook 2016 for Mac with email sending problem - Microsoft Community


dear can me solution email, using outlook 2016 mac, install imap account, can receive email have issue sending email, same setting if apply iphone or other windows live mail, apply mail there no issue sending email. 

always giving me different error codes

error 3253 / (connection server failed or dropped) 

error 17898 (incorrect authentication data)

yes problem solved not setting send me, because try before , don't know problem try incoming server port: 993 , ssl selected. 

outgoing port 25 , select both options 

- override default port

- use ssl connect username , password

only thing here did change incoming port , start working. other option same try before not working. 

strange thing same setting trying ipad, iphone , windows pc working fine incoming port 110.
