Reconnecting Outlook 2013 with OUtlook.com using a custom domain name - Microsoft Community

so opast few years, have used outlook.com host domain's email. previously, connect via exchange / activesync on outlook, soem screwed reason, constant emails saying need delete ost , reconnect.

ive got 3 computers, slow internet, , large email account company (graphics, lots of proofs , art files).  reconnecting typically takes 2-3 days per machine.

cannot connect @ on main machine. if try imap setting,s gets hung up. can assume issue stems outlook eamil address ending in "azzysdesignwworks.com" instead of "outlook.com"

have similar issues non "outlook.com" email address, , how did work around it. using online version horrible.

and please not reply if dont have answer. flag looking points account.

for custom domain you had setup before using http://domains.live.com?  if case , had dns updated work need add cname record @ domain registrar connect outlook.  known issue #4 in topic, https://support.office.com/en-us/article/reconnect-outlook-2016-or-outlook-2013-to-outlook-com-for-uninterrupted-email-access-cda1751d-9503-40bf-bf76-e79454ac5eb3?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us.

if custom domain configured connected account in outlook.com , used send/receive email was originated elsewhere option add account account in your outlook profile.  the#3 , last known issues in topic depending in adding account.  if connected account not able add using domain account alias.  outlook supports adding microsoft domain aliases e.g. @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, etc.  outlook team is working add functionality in future update.  if related issue please vote on uservoice, https://outlook.uservoice.com/forums/322590-outlook-2016-for-windows/suggestions/13457142-option-to-make-microsoft-outlook-2016-work-with-ou
