When I flag one email for follow up in Outlook for Mac 2016, multiple - Microsoft Community

in outlook 2016 mac when flag email g-suite gmail account, multiple emails show in tasks. how showing 1 of emails. below screenshot. clutter defeats purpose of having tasks list, takes forever task go away once have cleared it. appreciated.

i understand when flag email of gmail account in outlook 2016 mac, there multiple repeating emails appearing in task list. if yes, please provide following information troubleshooting?

  1. how configure gmail account in outlook 2016 mac, via pop, imap or google preview?
  2. does issue occur when flag emails of gmail account, or of them?
  3. how flag emails, inbox or others? issue occur when flag emails no due date or others?
  4. does encounter issue in organization?

besides, please provide detailed version of outlook 2016 mac. for example, version 15.30 (170107). can check following steps: 

  1. click on menu labeled outlook (next apple logo in top left corner of screen).
  2. click outlook.

please let me know if there misunderstanding.
