emails with auto folder move (RULES) - Microsoft Community


hello,

i have made in ms office outlook folder called important emails, , made rule automatically move selected senders emails mentioned folder, however, have noticed emails received , moved important folder, never notified in mobile outlook app, notified emails received in regular "inbox".

kindly guide me correct way have fixed.

good day,

i have reached solution for issue , follow:

1) in ms outlook 2013 go rules manage rules & alerts.

2) when creating new rule or editing current 1 chose condition.

3) in second dialogue set action, @ stage, have tick option of "display desktop alert"

this show notification once new email received no matter folder moved to.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
