Network pst file no longer loading in office 365 outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community

hi,

i got same issue.

outlook 2016 crashes when opening due pst file mounted network drive.

remove pst file network , open desktop, works fine.

any resolution yet?

as mentioned in original thread, network usage not meant long-term, continuous-use method of storing messages in enterprise environment. use of .pst file on network connection may result in corrupted .pst file if connection degrades or fails.

 

as .pst files works in local drive, issue should related limits using personal folders (.pst) files on lan , wan links. have done research found no effective solution deal situation.

 

you can refer article above consider our recommendations, such archive mailboxes, local drive or microsoft terminal services copy file storage requirement.
