Office contacts. Change in listing name when exported to an Android - Microsoft Community


in office contacts i list names in name box (>> check full name).

i type first name in "first" box , last name in "last" box.

as example let's use name helmut von trapp.

when have last name in 2 words (von trapp) then i can find alphabetically under "v" should be.

when exported android platform (smartphone) and sorted alphabetically find name under "t". 

so, happened?  first word (von) listed under (equivalent of) middle name.

result trapp, von, helmut.

i think has not one-on-one boxes between office , android.

but how can solve problem.

if using outlook.com mail account , contacts contained within mail account dont export anything. on android device install ms outlook play store , add outlook.com account

the outlook.com account sync desktop (the outlook.com server) , mail/people same on devices.

if have imap mail account possible may have data linked imap a/c,  in folder marked 'this pc only'

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
