search in outlook 2016 not working even are indexting - Microsoft Community


i have been notified of update office home , business 2016,

having run update, outlook search no longer works mailbox - fails give results search, if there messages should picked up.

it says folders indexed (which knew were,  as function worked earlier today)

is common problem , can it?

  • what troubleshooting steps have tried far?
  • is first time encountered problem?
  • have tried remove , re-add account in outlook 2016?
  • are getting error messages when trying search? if so, can send screenshot? note: please not include personal information.
