Cannot forward emails to another mailbox - Microsoft Community


hi folks,

i have user unusual issue.

they are using laptop (4gb ram) windows 7 , office 2016, working off prem.

they have 2 added mailboxes (as own), info , finance, both of have full access, send , send on behalf of permissions set.

when forwards emails these 2 mailboxes mailbox, goes fine.

when forwards emails finance info, goes fine.

when forwards emails info finance gets error message 'out of memory or system resources. close windows or programs , try again.'

as tries forwarding working ones, works fine again, occurs forwarding info finance.

so far have tried following no avail:

  • checked task manager performance tab when forwarding - indicators don't move, nothing uses ram
  • change mail profile
  • off line repair
  • on line repair
  • uninstall , re-install office 2016
  • sfc /scannow
  • clean boot according to: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
  • clean boot conclusion still got error, hence: "if program still not run expected, issue not caused application or service interference. may have go microsoft support more specific support."
  • increased pagefile 1.5 times size of the ram.
  • tried starting outlook in safe mode - still same error

this has started within last couple of days, have been working fine, nothing has changed on site in last few days.

any advice or pointers great help.

hi steff,

to resolve concern, can create test profile can isolate issue.

  1. on keyboard, press the windows + r.
  2. on run command box, key in outlook /profiles and press enter on keyboard.
  3. soon opens the choose profile box, click on new... and name "test".
  4. on the add new account setup, manually configure , enter details of email.
  5. check if the test account if still leaves email read upon moving different email folder.

if issue still exist test profile, means existing profile needs remove , add again on outlook. make sure backup important emails, contacts , folders.

please let know if need further assistance.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
