Default email account for replying to messages - Microsoft Community


i have main email account , few secondary accounts. default set main email account.

when i'm in inbox of default account, emails send sent account.

when i'm in inbox of secondary account, emails send sent secondary email account.

when reply message, email sent email account received message.

i've changed default email *** email address removed privacy *** , set primary email account , using microsoft exchange on email account.

i've noticed 1 problem since making change, when reply 1 of secondary email accounts, email sent primary email account , not email account received email.

since default @outlook.com.au account personal account , secondary accounts business accounts, want reply function send correct secondary account automatically (as used do) , not switch email sending message primary personal account.

is bug or there setting need modify?

hi,

setting email account send using individual account possible. check settings need configure, kindly answer questions below:

  • are using outlook or outlook.com?
  • do have third party email programs on computer?
