Latest Office for Mac update - Microsoft Community

i installed latest office mac update, , cannot open excel, word, , powerpoint.  

what must resolve issue?

if office apps cannot open, issue should related installation. suggestion reinstall of them , check if helps.

here step-by-step installation instructions: 

download , install or reinstall office 365 or office 2016 on pc or mac

if issue persists, i'd collect following information narrow down this:

  1. the detailed os version , office apps version number.
  2. when cannot open office app, receive error message? if so, please share screenshot us?
  3. check if issue can fixed after reboot mac.
