Office 365 Mail attachment Issue - Microsoft Community


i have user logs in office 365 , goes mail. when tries attach email says following files couldn't attached: filename. please try again later. looked , said mailbox sending limit issue. not have limit , file trying attach 25kb big. drag , drop email works fine when tries click attach button , go computer , select file fails. has tried multiple browsers , different computer systems , same issue happens. weird thing when went troubleshoot issue. log in account , can attach file fine. log out , log account , attachment works. once browser has been closed , reopened issue reappears again. tired chrome, firefox , ie , same thing. 

it has been working fine in till last week. nothing has been changed account side , no other people having issues.

reporting issue , letting know troubleshooting steps you’ve tried. move forward case, i’d further check these details:
1. based on experience, suggest clear browser cache see if there improvement.
2. issue merely occur small file 25 kb or other files when using attach function?
3. ‘once browser has been closed , reopened issue reappears again’, may confirm if set account or hers @ time? if it’s account, if enter account again?
4. detailed version of outlook web app (e.g. 16.1579.10.2194415) in affected account , own account (which works fine). version number, right click blank space in owa , choose view page source.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
