Office Insider Fast - Outlook v 15.36 on Mac issue with latest version - Microsoft Community


hi,
since tuesday, 6th of june (yesterday), can not sync outlook mails longer. receive error message each time start outlook client saying:
“server error - 401 - unauthorized: access denied due invalid credentials.
not have permission view directory or page using credentials supplied.”
updated outlook latest version 15.36 (170530) previous friday , working fine.
we’re running o365. i’m part of “office insider fast” suspect related version of outlook might not work 100% yet.

i’ve tried:
- connect using different networks (wi-fi, wired @ office , home) have same issue.
- add account again, same issue.

seems kind of connection/authorization problem exchange server…

running macbook pro sierra. outlook on web (owa) works fine. 

thank amanda! able resolve issue today, by:

- disconnecting company network

- close outlook

- connect personal hotspot (mobile)

- start outlook again , login

- instead of error message showing in pop window, received company login page

- once logged in, started sync

after sync done, closed outlook, disconnected personal hotspot , connected company network again. outlook works fine again...

strange, works @ least.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
