  1. if adjust window size, change (repair/fix) persistent (sticky) through app close , restart. 
    1. most effective resizing to,
      1. resize manually
      2. hold down ctrl key
      3. close outlook item, whether email, contact, task, etc.
  2. the "fix" persist after closing outlook , reopening outlook/.
  3. the "fix" not persist through reboot.

 

summary:  windows outlook items opening in small size. window size adjustments not survive pc restarts.

thanks quick reply.

this odd glitch slowing me down called in through e3 concierge access.  we tried solve it, and, not long after, received 3 possible solutions email.

the nextteam has given me 3 troubleshooting steps try fix issue.

 

1- did try starting outlook in safe mode see if issue still there? (hold ctrl key→ click on outlook shortcut → click yes "you want start in safe mode". please reply saying if successful/unsuccessful step.  did not try this; idea #3 worked.

 

2-have tried start outlook without add-ons see if there might add-on creates issue? please reply saying if successful/unsuccessful step.  did not try this; idea #3 worked.

 

3- go file > options (in outlook) , under advanced, scroll down display , check box disable hardware graphics acceleration. once set, click ok, close outlook , open again. please reply saying if successful/unsuccessful step.  this worked; windows open in predictable places , sizes, , large enough read , manipulated.

i tried simplest 1 first, have 3 tucked away in office 365 / tech support pages in onenote.  i reluctant create new profiles, since running 6 profiles in outlook.  my conjecture in latest windows 10 update made checking 'disable hardware graphics acceleration' non-optional me.

i glad did not have disable outlook add-ins, since time-savers me, especially, onenote , zoom.
