Outlook Hanging, fixed, then Hanging Again - Microsoft Community


level 1 technician @ college. helping user remotely using join.me , had reinstall office suit due outlook hanging issues. had reinstalled profile no results... reinstall deemed necessary. failed. out of frustration went ahead , removed , re added profile again... worked! started normal, day later she's same complaint...

there several reasons why encounter random hanging of outlook app. know more information identity root cause.

  • did check if have installed latest update of application?
  • are running add-ins on office applications?
  • are using anti-virus software?
  • what email server type setup on outlook account?
  • are encountering same issue when tried access web based email?
  • do error code or messages before outlook hangs?
