Random read emails are resetting to unread status - Outlook - Microsoft Community


i'm using outlook 365 mac in corporate exchange environment. i'm routing incoming emails relevant folders via rules. @ random, of emails have been read resetting unread 2 3 weeks later. these emails have been read (i've replied of them not of reset). result, repeatedly need enter of folders , filter on unread , set old messages read.

i looked @ other threads dealing sources gmail , godaddy i'm on mac , running in corporate exchange environment. emails resetting other internal users.

any thoughts on how fix issue? no 1 else in department (also on macs office 365) appears experiencing issue.

thank post. based on description, 1 experience issue, issue might related client. want know how did create rule route incoming emails folder. please provide detailed steps (screenshots) of inbox rule have created on outlook mac.

 

try add/modify action (do following..) of rule mark read, , check if there improvement.

 

please provide following information narrow down issue.

1. thedetailed outlook mac version, example 15.30 (170107). , detailed mac os version, example macossierra version 10.12 (16a232). 

2. check if email account accessed in mobile devices.

3. screenshot of inbox rule have created in outlook mac.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
