using exchange online mail service. attachments .epub extension is downloadable owa unable download  .epub format attachment files in outlook (mac os). outlook mac out of office 365 support , there no issue office 365, office 365 support team suggested contact office support team. here me out?

to better understand situation, i’d confirm information:

  1. do use save option download attachment? if not, please let me know how download it.
  2. do error message? if yes, please provide screenshot of it.
  3. since using exchange online mailbox, please right click folder problematic email exists , select properties. on general tab, click empty cache. outlook download items server. check if issue persists.
  4. does issue occur .epub format attachments?
  5. set account in mac machine , see if issue occurs.
