Cannot search "Search Folders" in Outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community


after recent update cannot search subfolders within search folders. 

i am using office 365 exchange online through godaddy(ost file) .

the error message went wrong , search couldn't completed.  in event log event id 36:

outlook indicates indexing complete (under search tools -> indexing status).

i went through article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2769651/outlook-search-returns-no-matches-found

sfc /scannow returned no errors.  have reconfigured , rebuild index on computer.

temp folders have been empty , logging has been enabled on outlook.

let me know if want log files.

if seeing error below when searching issue caused june window security updates.  windows team has developed fix , ship in windows updates on 6/27.  

since security update don't recommend removing them understand if need search working.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
