Office Outlook 365 reflecting huge number of emails when there are - Microsoft Community


ever since downloaded free trial of office 365 , since downloading paid one-year subscription, outlook 365 reflecting "4294967295" unread emails in "inbox," when indeed there no emails in inbox. huge number goes away when there actual unread emails in inbox, actual emails read or moved and/or my inbox empty, annoying number reflected in blue inbox name. 2 agents have tried solve no avail. have ideas , know how fix? have tried quick repair, full online repair, , uninstalling , reinstalling, , turning off , unplugging computer , plugging in , turning on. nothing working--that huge number still being reflected unread emails. have ideas? related corrupt driver? or ideas appreciated!

to have better view on concern, experiencing issue when using outlook web (outlook.com)?

meanwhile, let's reset folder view in outlook. kindly follow steps below:

  1. in navigation pane, highlight folder want reset, click view > change view, , specify view mode drop down list restore initial view.
  2. click view > reset view.
  3. a warning dialog box come out. click the yes button in dialog box.then selected folder reset original view @ once. if want apply view other folders, please go on following steps.
  4. click view > change view > apply current view other mail folders on the view tab.
  5. then in apply view dialog box, please check mailboxes , subfolders in the apply view these folders box, it’s optional check option of apply view subfolders, and click the ok button.
