Unable to empty the cache in Outlook 2016 for Mac. - Microsoft Community


i have synchronization problems outlook 2016 mac , trying to empty cache in outlook outlook can download items exchange account again.

i following office/support instructions follows:

  1. "make sure computer connected exchange server."
  2. "in navigation pane, ctrl+click or right click exchange folder want empty cache , click properties."
  3. "on general tab, click empty cache. after folder empty, outlook automatically downloads items exchange server."

problem nothing happens in step 2 when ctrl+click or right click on exchange folder: no menu appears cannot click in properties. therefore, can not follow step 3: click general tab , empty cache.

i have latest outlook update (v15.33) running in macos 10.12.4

¿any suggestions?

the hotmail account can configured via exchange mode. when configure account, choose outlook.com instead of other email.
