how can remove click add notes pane in powerpoint 2011? don't need it, , keeps me seeing full page without lot of scrolling.

luc's direction correct, neglected mention using slide view does remove notes pane , removes navigation (thumbnails/outline) pane. along notes pane integral components of normal view. while in slide view know of no way display nav pane without displaying notes pane well. also, if switch normal view in presentation there no way know of return slide view.

you can play around keyboard shortcuts switching views, imo isn't preferable workaround - have adjust width of nav pane every time turn on. see plowerpoint shortcuts if you're interested.

the option hide notes pane in given file drag notes pane separator bar bottom of window. persist slides in presentation has done in each presentation file.

if it's of serious concern can create own ppt template [.potx] notes pane collapsed, create new presentation files going file> new template.
