your suggestion did not work me. have disabled notification alerts , also, restarted outlook. but, new email alert pop-up  didn't go away. every time, have restart rid of pop-up.

i think, may 15th time, seeing problem. fed of problem , thought google resolutions , stumbled upon thread.

i using win 10 , outlook 2013
