Outlook 2016 is unable to log into Office 365 - Microsoft Community


hi,

my user has outlook mac 2016 version 15.29. since yesterday, outlook keeps prompting login credentials. entered correct user name , password, no help, webmail fine. have done following steps no luck.

  1. remove account , added back
  2. remove profile , added back
  3. re-installed office

none of above works. word fine. able sign office 365 in word. outlook has problem.

please help!

thank reply. problem seems being fixed removing saved password in keychain.

go finder -> applications -> utilities -> keychain access -> under login -> remove keys named exchange or office

 

we use microsoft office 365.
