Outlook 2016 randomly jumps to different locations when scrolling - Microsoft Community

we having similar issue in our outlook few of our users (and myself, able replicate issue).

(version 1704 8067.2115 creator's update , 1607 domain connected machines)

while in outlook, if scroll down, sent top.

if click vertical scroll rectangle , drag down, stays less second before jumping last were.

i have ran registry entry shown, has not fixed scrolling issue our organization.

luckily, have few users on 8067.2115 version, it's bug particular version.

we need eta on fix or workaround.

i'm having issues multifactor authentication outlook client, box pops hangs. restarting not fix issue, full shutdown (bypassing "fast startup).

this makes muiltifactor popup , login (we have azure auto login setup in gpo long users @ work)

as far know, release new version 16.0.8067.2157 recently. so, suggestion may try upgrading outlook client newest version see if improvement.

meanwhile, may try downgrading affected outlook lower version since works fine , newly upgrading can time consuming. detailed steps downgrading outlook client:
1.in outlook, on file tab, , click office account.
2.click update options, , click disable updates.
3.open command prompt. this, use 1 of following procedures, appropriate version of windows.
•windows 10, windows 8.1 , windows 8: press windows key + r open run dialog box. type cmd.exe , press ok.
•windows 7: click start, type cmd.exe in search box, , press enter.
4.enter following command, , press enter.
"c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\clicktorun\officec2rclient.exe" /update user updatetoversion=16.0.7870.2038
5.after update downloaded, if office applications open, prompted need close. save work , click continue close applications.
6.when update finished applying, start outlook again.

for “mfa (multi-factor authentication) issue, suggest keep monitoring since occasional. if comes back, please post new thread in forum avoiding confusion here (isolating ‘scrolling issue’). thanks

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
